When a master occultist is killed in a sudden accident, his daughter — and partner in the study of the necromantic arts — revives him in order to take care of some unfinished business. But when she takes a few necessary shortcuts in his resurrection, they discover that there may be more to accomplish on the mortal plane than either of them had anticipated….
Tohubohu Productions entered the Washington, DC, 48 Hour Film Science Fiction Horror Project with 2022’s “Closure Corps.” Returning co-writers Anna Coughlan and William R. Coughlan (“Tex: Wisdom of the Old West,” “Separation Smackdown”) crafted a comedic horror tale inspired by one of the world’s most famous classic movie monsters — though with more than a bit of creative enhancement. Produced by Lee Perna and directed by William R. Coughlan — and lensed by returning cinematographer Jesse Achtenberg (“The Greater Evil”) — the film was created entirely over the weekend of October 14th through October 16th, 2022, and premiered at the AFI Silver Theater on Thursday, October 27th.
