Formed in 2010, Tampa Bay Comic Con is one of the southeast’s largest pop-culture conventions with an attendance of over 50,000. From its humble beginnings as a 1-day event held in a small recreational building in Largo, Florida, drawing 550 attendees, Tampa Bay Comic Con now encompasses the entire Tampa Convention Center and holds the attendance record for the facility (surpassing the Republican National Convention).
